Prior to taking up his new role, Young was Head of Institutional FX at Silicon Valley-headquartered FX trading platform Fortex.
In this role, he was responsible for building the company’s institutional FX ECN business and expanding Fortex’ existing offering to cater to a new client segment. He also managed liquidity provider relationships, a spokesperson for Fortex revealed at the time.

Young’s career began as a Business Analyst at Integral in 2007.
One year later, he became Head of Client Serices, Americas, at Deutsche Boerse owned multi-bank, multi-asset trading platform for over-the-counter (OTC) and listed financial instruments, 360T in the firm’s New York office. He held this role for six years.
