Former Head of Sales at LME Paul MacGregor Joins Perfect Channel

Paul MacGregor took on a new role as Head of Sales and Marketing at London-based fintech company Perfect Channel, according to market sources.
Perfect Channel delivers innovation and efficiencies across multiple industries.
“We are a pre-eminent digital marketplace partner for forward looking projects, designing and developing robust and secure transactional marketplaces and auction venues, augmented with artificial intelligence and machine learning”, the firm says.
MacGregor moved to the firm from Britannia Global, where he had worked in derivatives sales since May 2019.
Britannia Global Markets offers clients the ability to trade across asset classes and markets worldwide. It is authorised and regulated by the FCA and a member of the Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange.
Prior to that he served in the same position at brokerage house Berkeley Futures Limited.
Long career
MacGregor’s career started at NYSE Euronext in 1994. He spent 18 years at the company, holding numerous roles including Head of Fixed Income Derivatives.
In this position, he was responsible for developing the Fixed Income business franchise and product development.
He also  served as Head of European Agency Sales at ION Trading for almost one year, before joining London Metal Exchange (LME) as Head of Sales .
The London Metal Exchange is a member of HKEx Group and the world centre for industrial metals trading.
More than 80% of global non-ferrous metals business is conducted on three trading platforms.
MacGregor spent more than three years at the Exchange before moving to his derivatives sales role at Brittania Global.
