CMC Markets Sponsors Aussie Rules Team St Kilda

Aussie rules football team St Kilda announced on Monday that it has formed a sponsorship agreement with CMC Markets.The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The new partnership will see St Kilda playing with the retail broker’s logo on their team shorts until at least 2022.

“Both of our organisations are built around the people who support us,” said Matt Lewis, head of CMC Markets in Asia Pacific and Canada. “Our communities, whether investors or football fans, are what make us who we are and drive our continued growth and innovation.
‘We’re very happy to be part of the St Kilda Football Club community and we’re looking forward to supporting the club over the coming years.”
Old timers
This is not the first time that CMC Markets has tried its hand at sports sponsorship in Australia.
For several years, the retail trading firm sponsored NSW Waratahs – a rugby team based in New South Wales.
The company also with a New Zealand motorsport racer last year.
