Euronext FX Recruits Wyman Shing as Sales Director from RBS

There’s been another change at Euronext FX, with the foreign exchange (forex) Electronic Communications Network (ECN) for exchange trading managing to recruit Wyman Shing as a Sales Director, Finance Magnates has learned.

The move was made publiC via Shing’s LinkedIn profile, which shows that he joined the company in August of the year and is based in Singapore. He joins the company , who was also appointed as a Sales Director. Instead, she is based in New York.

Shing joins the company, , after having spent more than six years working at the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS). As , Euronext rebranded its ECN Fastmatch to Euronext FX, to bring it under its brand identity. As we highlighted at the time, the unification of the FX trading ECN’s name with its parent company is related to Euronext’s forex expansion platform.

Initially, Shing joined RBS in March 2013 and most recently held the position of Head of FX E-Commerce Sales Asia, excluding Japan, his LinkedIn profile states.
During his career, which spans for 15 years, Shing has worked in some well-known companies in the trading space. In November of 2004, he commenced his career by joining Bloomberg.
Whilst employed with the media giant, Shing was the forex electronic trading specialist. In this role, he covered Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam and Cambodia.
In October of 2011, he moved on to work for FXall, which at the time, was a Thomas Reuters company. For the year and a half that he was employed with the forex market company, he was the Director of Sales for South-East Asia.
In addition to his experience in the forex industry, Shing holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, in the field of finance, which he attained from the National University of Singapore.
