Euronext FX Secures Former Citi Director as Sales Director

Pan-European company Euronext has managed to secure former director at Citi as its Sales Director for its foreign exchange (forex) operations, Kelly Yount, Finance Magnates has learned.
The move was made public via Yount’s LinkedIn profile, which reveals that she has taken on the new position in August of this year and is based in New York in the United States.

She joined Euronext FX from Citi where she was the Director of the company’s for just over a year, joining the company in July of 2018. In this role, she was also based in New York.

In her own words, Yount is an: “Experienced Director with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services industry. Strong finance professional skilled in Sales, Prime Brokerage, Management, Trading Systems, and Trading.”
Prior to her stint with Citi, Yount spent more than a decade at , originally joining in November of 2007. Her final position with the firm was as a Director of non-bank strategic accounts, EBS.
In this role, she managed the daily relationships, account function, trading, volumes and local as well as international expansion for the top buy-side clients on the EBS platform across North America, her LinkedIn states. She also managed many of the major banks who offer Prime Services in the FX space.
In addition to her industry experience, Yount also holds a Bachelor of Science of Biology, Molecular Genetics from Syracuse University, graduating in 2005 her LinkedIn states.
Yount is working for Euronext FX in her role as Sales Director. As , Euronext rebranded its Electronic Communication Network (ECN) Fastmatch to Euronext FX, to bring it under its brand identity.
As we highlighted at the time, the unification of the FX trading ECN’s name with its parent company is related to Euronext’s forex expansion platform.
