ACY Securities Hires Russell Sandiford as Chief Market Analyst

ACY Securities, based in Australia, has a new Chief Market Analyst, with Russell Sandiford assuming the position in July of this year, the broker announced this Friday.

Sandiford joins the company with more than 16 years worth of experience in the global FX, indices and commodities markets. In his new role, he will be in charge of distributing premium market analysis and commentary, as part of the company’s efforts to provide traders with high-quality analysis.
During his career, he has worked for a number of brokers. , he was a dealer and market analyst and at AxiTrader and City Index he was a sales trader, his LinkedIn states. Sandiford confirmed to Finance Magnates that he commenced his new position on the 24th of July this year.
In an interview, ACY Securities Co-director, Jimmy Ye said: “As part of our commitment to provide traders with premium analysis, Russell will be leading the output of sharp market commentary through the provision of daily morning/afternoon briefs, live webinars around key data releases, as well as weekly markets wraps and reports.”
In his commentary, Sandiford takes a mixed fundamental and technical analysis approach, which is particularly beneficial for intra-day traders, the statement from the broker said.
“Analysing the global markets is one of my greatest passions.  There is excitement, volatility and method. I am also passionate about showing traders what to look for when trading the markets and my role at ACY Securities allows me to do exactly that, for which I am certainly very excited,” Sandiford added in a statement today.

The appointment of Sandiford came around the same time as the appointment of Head of Marketing and Communications – Justin Pooni. As , in this position, Pooni is in charge of the broker’s strategic positioning, communications, and digital strategy, to promote the company to traders
