BCS Global Markets has a new Chief Information Officer (CIO), on the (MOEX) announced this Tuesday, appointing Dmitry Trub to the position.
As the CIO, Dmitry will be in charge of driving software development in order to maximise the firm’s investment banking functions. He will also be in charge of making the company’s institutional service more efficient.

At BCS, Trub will also have the responsibility of developing and implementing BCS’ IT strategy. He will also be in charge of increasing the automation level for providing client operations, regulatory reporting and connecting new markets.
Trub joins the Russian market maker with nearly two decades worth of experience. During his career, he has held a number of positions in the financial industry, which have seen him develop and make decisions related to technically complex solutions for investment and corporate banking, the statement said.

Dmitry Trub joins BCS from Deutsche Bank
Trub joins the Russian firm from , where he spent almost eight years. Most recently, he was a Director and Head of Global Market Equities IT Russia. In this role, he was responsible for software development and stability of the production environment.
He originally joined Deutsche in September of 2011 Deutsche Bank’s Co-head of Trading Technologies for Russia Technology Centre. This including the management of a 300+ team of software engineers.
