FC Adds Former CEO of HTF Brokers to Dispute Resolution Committee

The (FC), an external dispute resolution (EDR) organisation announced on Wednesday that it has appointed the former Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of HTF Brokers, Oskar Pecyna, to its Dispute Resolution Committee (DRC).
The FC is an EDR for both companies and clients in the foreign exchange (forex), contract-for-difference (CFD) and cryptocurrency sectors. The organisation’s DRC processes and resolves complaints from its member’s clients.

With the addition of Pecyna, there are now 23 industry experts on the FC’s DRC. Before joining the committee, he founded eOscar in Australia in November of 2018, which provides independent consulting services for the financial sector.

In June of 2015, Pecyna joined HFT Brokers in Warsaw, where he was the CEO and Chairman until January of 2016. From here, he moved on to become the CEO, Director and Responsible Manager at IFGM. Based in Sydney, he spent more than three years with the firm.
At present, Pecyna leads a number of merger and acquisition projects, as well as providing consultation services to the financial sector in both Australia and Europe. He has worked as an advisor to a number of financial groups, the statement from the FC said.

Commenting on the appointment, Peter Tatarnikov, Financial Commission Chairman, said: “Oskar is a leading expert on European, Asian and Australian markets and he will be a great asset to our DRC team in handling disputes from a variety of viewpoints.
“Likewise, his experience with derivatives trading will play a significant role when dealing with complaints regarding the trading of Contracts for Difference (CFDs)”.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Pecyna has held a number of positions in the forex industry. This includes, but is not limited to, CEO of RTFX in Malta, CEO and Director of SprintFX and a member of the supervisory board of Marketinvest.
In addition to his professional qualifications, Pecyna also holds a Masters degree in International Economics from the University of Warsaw. In addition, he holds the EU AML and Australian RG146 certification in Derivatives, FX, Securities, and Managed Investments.
