Crypto.com Hires Kasim Zorlu Ahead of Its Overseas Expansion

The has appointed Kasim Zorlu, an ex-Rovio Entertainment executive, as its head of growth.
Zorlu is a marketing expert and has spent around 15 years in the industry on various marketing-related roles. His appointment came at a time when Crypto.com is planning to extend its services in the United States and Europe later this year.

Commenting on his new role, Zorlu said: “Having worked in a dynamic and competitive industry like gaming, I am eager to apply my understanding of user behavior of digital products to optimize engagement, secure more users, and push the growing range of Crypto.com’s products.”
Gaming Industry Pioneer Transitioning to Crypto
He is joining the crypto payment platform from Rovio Entertainment where he spent around three years in two leadership roles – vice president of performance marketing and director of performance marketing.
Prior to Rovio, he was the chief marketing officer at Gram Games for around a year following his two-and-a-half-year term at Bee Square Games, as seen on his Linkedin profile.
He was also the marketing and intelligence director at Peak Games for 2 years.

Zorlu started his career in 2003 with Starcom and took over a role in the digital media. He also obtained a masters degree in business administration from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management.
