BNP Paribas Bolsters its London Investment Banking Team with Two Hires

BNP Paribas, , has added two new employees to its London investment banking team. The new additions are John Bigham and Tejus Morland who, according to their LinkedIn profiles, both joined the firm this month.
John Bigham’s and Tejus Morland’s careers before BNP Paribas
Bigham has been an investment banker and corporate advisor for over 25 years. For BNP, Bigham is a managing director and he will be handling UK client coverage for the firm. Bigham joins the French bank from , where he was the Head of Natural Resources and Power for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). He worked with the company for seven years.

In 1992, Bigham began his career at L.E.K. Consulting as an Associate. He worked for the company in London for two years before becoming the Vice President of Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank in 1994. He worked with the German bank up until 2002.
From here, Bigham moved to the Bank of America in 2004. At the firm, he was a Managing Director for the EMEA region. After four and a half years, he then moved to Standard Bank Group. Up until 2011, Bigham was Head of Advisory London. It was then that he moved on to Nomura.
Tejus Morland

Morland, on the other hand, will be working in the UK financial institutions group (FIG) within debt capital markets (DCM) at BNP Paribas. Previously, Morland worked at bank where he most recently worked as an Associate UK FIG DCM. Morland worked at Barclays for more than five years. He first joined the multinational bank in May 2013, originally working in Wholesale Credit Risk – Mandate & Scale.
Prior to this, Morland was an Investment Manager Intern at Hamilton Bradshaw LTD from September 2012 until April 2013. He also did a one-month summer internship in FLDP Credit Risk at .
