TABB Group Appoints George Bollenbacher to Head Fixed Income Research

, a research and consulting firm focused on capital markets and financial technology, has boosted its senior analysts team with the hire of George Bollenbacher as Head of Fixed Income Research.
Based in New York for his new role, George will be responsible for managing TABB’s fundamental and quantitative research efforts performed throughout the organization with responsibility for supporting business growth across the asset class. Mr. Bollenbacher is also tasked with establishing research agendas, ensure communication with stakeholders to develop new products, evaluate and enhance investment processes.

George arrives with market research experience at previous employers including twenty years as a bond trader and over a decade in the technology business with key roles at IBM and Unisys.
Prior to this position, he most recently served as senior advisor and partner with Capital Markets Advisors where he headed the regulatory and market evolution practice. During his nearly 5-year tenure with this company, he assisted clients in implementing regulatory reforms and dealing with market evolution worldwide.
Mr. Bollenbacher spent over three decades on Wall Street, as a fixed income trader, salesman and manager at several firms including HSBC, Chase Manhattan, Donaldson, Paine Webber and Oppenheimer & Co. In 1997, he opened a private consulting practice, George M. Bollenbacher & Co., specializing in business analysis and regulatory consulting.

TABB Group will be present in this year’s which will feature a more diverse focus than past years, focusing more on other asset classes, namely cryptocurrency.
The company’s senior analyst, Monica Summerville, will participate in the session titled “Cryptocurrency Trading: Breaking Down Retail and Institutional Models,” which will answer questions such as ‘how can brokers hedge crypto CFDs?’ and whether centralized cryptocurrency exchanges ‘cater to institutional investors and what do decentralized venues bring to the mix?’
Monica is a financial services industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience, who has held senior positions on both the buy and sell sides, including working for leading consulting firms and US retail brokers.
