Salim Sebbata Appointed Senior Executive Director at IMS Forex

Finance Magnates has learnt that Salim Sebbata has taken up a new role as Senior Executive Officer at IMS Forex (IMS FX) in the (UAE). Speaking to Sebbata this Wednesday, Finance Magnates was able to confirm that he has taken up the new role, having spent the last two years as a consultant with Alpha Consulting FZE.
Sebbata joined Alpha Consulting FZE in August of 2016. The firm provides a range of consultancy services but it appears Mr Sebbata joined to provide worth with the company’s clients in the financial services industry.
Prior to his consultancy work, Sebbata worked for one of the major players in the retail trading industry – . Based in the UAE, Mr Sebbata was Head of the Middle East for the London-headquartered retail broker.
Industry Veteran
Sebbata’s appointment as Head of CMC’s Middle East division came after a five year stint, starting in October 2010, with Mubasher Financial Services (MFS), a brokerage services provider.

 
During his time with MFS, Sebbata worked in a number of positions. These included Head of Direct Broker for Financial Services and General Manager of DUtrade.
Before joining MFS, Sebbata worked at E*Trade Financial. Over the course of his 6-year long tenure at the firm, Sebbata worked in numerous roles.
He started out, in 2004, working as the firm’s Head of Sales Retail. After this he spent two years working as a Senior Director in the broker’s UK retail division. His final two years with the firm, between 2008 and 2010, were spent as Head of the B2B division.
All of the above was made possible by Sebbata’s initial foray into the financial services business. The industry veteran started out, in 1997, working for in the banking giant’s private banking division.
