London-headquartered retail brokerage company LCG Capital has onboarded a new director to its board. In a regulatory filing with UK Companies House, the firm announced that Olivia Blanchard joined the firm on the 22nd of February.
During her career, she has gathered extensive experience in compliance, previously working at companies like Axa Investment Managers, Cheuvreux and Louis Capital Markets. Mrs. Blanchard is the second female to sit on the board of the firm, after Rebecca Fuller left the brokerage’s management in January last year.
Mrs. Blanchard founded her own consultancy company focused on compliance called Live Consulting. She has been focusing on several niche markets in the financial industry, including private banking, Investment banking, asset management, and brokers.
As a compliance officer and then head of compliance in Paris and London, Mrs. Blanchard has gained extensive knowledge about various products including cash, fixed income, commodities, FX, CFDs and others. She has experience in different international regulatory environments: the French AMF, the UK’s FCA, the US’ NFA and FINRA.
