Emmanuel Ayoun Barred from Financial Markets for Five Years by CySEC

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) has banned Mr Emmanuel Ayoun from practising professional activities in the financial sector for a period of five years. The decision comes after the commission found that Mr Ayoun had misled CySEC by providing false information in a personal questionnaire for his appointment at a Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF).

In the board meeting held on 6th Feb 2017, CySEC also decided to impose an administrative fine of €10,000 upon Mr Ayoun for non-compliance with section 139(2) of the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law of 2007. Mr Ayoun provided false information in a personal questionnaire regarding his previous employment with CySEC during the process of his appointment as an Executive Director and Senior Management Officer at a CIF.

According to social platform LinkedIn, Mr Emmanuel Ayoun has been working as COO/CFO of AMFF Ltd. for more than 5 years. He manages the financial and legal affairs of the company. According to its website, the company edals with client fund management, and it is regulated by CySec.
