AJF Financial Services Promotes Melissa Mazeres as Chief Operations Officer

AJF Financial Services has promoted one of its own, tapping Melissa Mazeres as its newest Chief Operations Officer, Finance Magnates has learned. The ascension comes just two years after joining AJF, and will see her with an expanded mandate and responsibilities.

CySEC-registered AJF Financial Services controls a number of different companies in both the foreign exchange (FX) and binary options space, including CapitAlpha, EU-Capitals, AlphaInvestment, and others. Ms. Mazeres steps into her new role as Chief Operations Officer with immediate effect at the Limassol-based group.

As its Chief Operations Officer, she will oversee the management and development of AJF Financial’s business development department and back-office capabilities. In this capacity she will also be tasked with onboarding new partners and dealing with client management, among other responsibilities for the group.

Ms. Mazeres originally joined AJF Financial back in 2015 as its Vice President of Business Development. For two years she helped bring in new business and partners for the group while also managing AJF’s partnerships department. Her success supervising the company’s call centers, affiliates, and other partnerships were integral to her promotion.

Prior to coming over to AJF Financial she worked at other venues in the FX industry, including a stop at SkyFX as a Senior Account Manager as well as Sales Specialist and Account Manager, dating back to 2012, according to information made public on her Linkedin profile.
