Investcorp Bank Promotes Gabriel Aractingi to CEO of Saudi Arabian Business

Bahrain-based private equity firm, Investcorp Bank BSC, has appointed veteran banker Gabriel Aractingi, promoting the former Morgan Stanley executive as its newest Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for its Saudi Arabian business, according to a recent Bloomberg report.

Mr. Aractingi has been with Investcorp Bank BSC since last October, having originally joined the group as its Managing Director. In his new role as CEO of Investcorp Bank, Mr. Aractingi will help steer one of the more active money managers in the country, having made inroads in the IPO space with several luxury brands in recent years.

Moreover, he will be promoted to a new head role during a time when Investcorp is rebuilding its hedge fund business and investing more in European and US real estate space. He originally came over to Investcorp from Morgan Stanley, where he worked for six years in several lead roles – this included senior stints as its Managing Director and CEO of its Saudi Arabian business and Head of PWN, MENA, dating back to 2010.
