Trent Beacroft has joined FastMatch, an Electronic Communications Network (ECN) for trading foreign exchange, in Singapore as Managing Director of Sales effective February 1st, 2017.
Assuming his new position, Trent will manage and drive sales opportunities across hedge funds, banks, brokers and asset managers segments in Asia. He will be tasked with further developing Singapore’s sales potential within top tier institutions throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Mr. Beacroft has a longstanding career in the FX industry at senior level, having spent the last eight years at FastMatch’s rival Hotspot / BATS Global Markets as Head of Asia Pacific. Before joining Hotspot, he held a series of high profile positions in both sales and trading in FX and rates with top tier institutions. Mr. Beacroft began his career almost twenty years ago at Westpac as Chief Dealer.
Based in Singapore, Trent Beacroft will report to Paul Ainsworth, Global Head of Sales of FastMatch.
Finance Magnates last reported on Fastmatch earlier this month The final month of last year was heavily affected by a number of holidays including Christmas, New Year and Hanukkah.
