According to the published data, Gaitame’s traders brought in total deposits of ¥110.53 billion (worth about $969 million) during the last month of 2016. In November the total figure was ¥110.97 billion, meaning that the figure did not change much month over month.

The overall number of accounts has increased to 435,897 in December from 434,077 the month before, meaning that 1820 new clients have joined Gaitame over the period.

Nevertheless, despite the higher accounts number and the similar total deposits figure, the overall trading volume slipped in December 2016 for Gaitame. After reaching ¥328.861 billion (about $2.887 billion) trading volume in November 2016 the Japanese brokerage now reports only ¥264.721 billion for December. This is a stinging drop of 19.5% month over month. Still, it’s important to take note that the figure is higher than the trading volumes Gaitame reported in October, September and August of 2016.

Back in October 2016, Compagnie Financiere Tradition announced its latest quarterly results. The report showed that business has managed to continue growing steadily and could continue actively expanding.
