ING Bank Strengthens Debt Syndicate Team with Winston Tay Hire

ING Bank has made a new senior hire, strengthening its Asian debt syndicate team with the addition of Winston Tay, who joins the group with immediate effect, according to a Reuters report.

His new role at ING will be as Head of Asian debt syndicate – in this capacity he will work out of Singapore, where he is responsible for all Asia and Australia. He will be reporting to both Ricardo Zemella, ING’s Head of debt capital markets (DCM) and syndicate for Asia, and Eden Riche, the bank’s Head of high yield and emerging market (EM) syndicate.

Mr. Tay joins ING from RHB Banking Group, having worked as its Head of Asia Debt Syndicate & Credit Distribution for over a year. Additionally, he has held senior level roles at RBS as its Head of South East Asia Debt Syndicate and ANZ in a similar role, among others, according to information made public on his Linkedin profile.
