Following the departure of Saxo Switzerland’s CEO Antonio Ferrante in July this year, the bank on a permanent basis.
Finance Magnates today learned from finews.com that the bank now has appointed him on a permanent basis as the new chief executive officer.
Hunger joined the Danish bank earlier this year as general counsel and member of the executive of its Swiss unit. Prior to working at Saxo, Hunger worked for Credit Suisse Trust, once again as general counsel and member of the executive.
Hunger, a lawyer by profession, has also held roles at UBS Investment Bank and the Swiss National Bank.
Commenting on the Hunger’s permanent appointment, Steen Blaafalk, chairman of Saxo Bank Switzerland and member of the management board of Saxo Bank Groupת said: “With Patrick Hunger, the management team and the committed members of staff, we are well placed to expand our position in the Swiss market further”.
