Risk Focus, a provider of control and compliance for regulatory trade and transaction reporting, has appointed Elena Gaetini as its newest Head of Business Development and Governmental Affairs for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, stepping into the role with immediate effect.
In her new role as the Head of Business Development and Governmental Affairs – EMEA at Risk Focus, Ms. Gaetini will be tasked with focusing on all European financial and regulatory centers, including such locales as Frankfurt, Brussels, Paris, Madrid, Milan, Rome, Zurich, Amsterdam and Luxembourg.
Ms. Gaetini joins Risk Focus from the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), having served as its Director for Governmental Affairs and the Head of Southern Europe and France for Derivatives/SERV sales. She had worked with the DTCC for over four years, based out of London.
Prior to joining DTCC, she also held a senior level role at LCH.Clearnet in Paris, where she worked as a project manager for over six years, spending the majority of her tenure on international projects in over-the-counter (OTC) fixed income markets and derivatives, according to information made public on her Linkedin profile.
