Good news for users of the Copay Bitcoin wallet – you now have a new way to access all the millions of products on Amazon and some of its affiliated websites. BitPay Inc, has announced a new feature on the latest version of the Copay wallet – using bitcoin to purchase Amazon Gift Cards directly within the app.
With the new feature Copay users can purchase Amazon gift cards for the exact USD value they need for a purchase, starting at $1 and increasing in penny increments all the way up to $500. The codes that represent the value are stored on the Copay app, but are not backed up with the bitcoin wallet backups – making them more suited for making an immediate purchase than for holding long term.
