IG Group Holdings plc has named June Felix as its newest Non-Executive Director, whose appointment is tendered with immediate effect, according to an ICAP statement.
Ms. Felix is currently serving as the President of Verifone – Europe, where she is responsible for overseeing this company’s European operations. Prior to this role, she has held various executive management positions at such institutions as Citibank, Citi Enterprise Payments, and IBM Corporation.
Andy Green, Chairman of IG, made this statement regarding the appointment: “I am delighted to welcome June Felix to the Board of IG. Her significant international experience and knowledge of the digital sector coupled with her marketing background and her experience in product innovation and delivery will prove invaluable to the Board.”
Last month, In his new role at IG Group as its Head of Finance, Mr. Horsley has been tasked with the management of IG’s financial functions worldwide, including such channels as financial control, financial planning, analysis and tax reconciliation.
IG Group (LON:IGG) is operating off its July 2015 peaks when it surpassed the 800p level, topping right at 813.5p. Share prices managed to settle at 726.5p Friday at the close, ending the session in negative territory, down -0.6%.
