CBOE Holdings Promotes Andy Lowenthal to SVP

CBOE Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: CBOE) has elevated Andy Lowenthal from the role of Vice President to Senior Vice President (SVP), Business Development, according to a CBOE statement.

Mr. Lowenthal’s promotion has occurred amidst a restructuring of CBOE’s business development efforts across an ever-growing suite of futures, options products, and services, along others.

In his new role as the SVP of CBOE, Mr. Lowenthal’s will see his responsibilities augmented to now include business development functions of the CBOE Futures Exchange, as well as oversight of a cascade of related products. Moreover, the appointment will also see him commanding business development for Livevol, a provider of equity and index options technology and market data services.

In addition to the newly expanded role, Mr. Lowenthal will help steer CBOE’s newly created Global Client Services group. Despite the greater latitude, he will continue to direct CBOE’s Business Analysis and Institutional and International Business Development groups.

Mr. Lowenthal originally joined CBOE back in 1983, having served in Trading Operation, Regulatory Services, Strategic Planning and Business Development Division roles over the years.
