The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) issued a statement today informing investors that the company Talanto Capital Markets (Cyprus) is not permitted to provide investment and ancillary services in the country pursuant to the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law.
CySEC does not regulate the company. The company has never been authorized by the commission, it is not a bank nor a cooperative firm established in Cyprus, nor is it authorized to provide such services, and no notification has been received by a competent authority of another member state.
CySEC urges investors to consult its site to confirm which entities are authorized to provide investment services in the country.
Prior to the announcement, Talanto Capital Markets had listed a Cyprus branch on their “Contact Us” site page. It has since been removed.
