Bitcoin infrastructure provider and Bitcoin transaction processing company, BitFury Group, has appointed Samsung Electronics President and Chief Strategy Officer, Young Sohn to its strategic advisory board.
Mr. Sohn has held his current position at Samsung Electronics since 2012, a role that will now be supplemented by his inclusion to BitFury Group’s strategic advisory board. Furthermore, he has held over three decades experience in the semiconductor and manufacturing industry.
Prior to Samsung, Mr. Sohn has held a number of senior level roles at Quantum Corporation, Oak Technologies, Agilent Semiconductor (now Avago), and Inphi Corporation.
