HSBC Holdings Plc has named Andy Maguire as its newest Group Chief Operating Officer and Group General Manager, succeeding Sean O’Sullivan who is retiring after 34 years at HSBC.

Mr. Maguire is slated to assume his new role as of December 1, during which Mr. O’Sullivan will help assist in the transition after his lengthy career spanning over three decades. Prior to joining HSBC, Mr. Maguire worked at Boston Consulting Group as a Managing Partner of both the UK and Ireland.
