Based in Abu Dhabi, ADS Securities has announced the opening of a UK regulated London office. Previously operated as FCA licensed Pioneer Trader Limited, the London office is being rebranded as ADS Securities London following its acquisition by ADS earlier in the year.
Leading the freshly minted ADS Securities London office is new hire James Watson. Formerly the Head of FX Transactions EMEA at Thomson Reuters, Watson becomes the Managing Director of ADS Securities London and will manage a current team of 20 which is expected to grow.
According to ADS, the London office becomes a regional base in targeting UK and European private and institutional clients. Similar to other regional offices, institutional customers of the London branch will have access to ADS Securities OREX Optim’s proprietary platform for their trading and liquidity needs.
