Representatives from the world’s leading payment and Ecommerce solution providers are presenting their platforms at the event. Payment Service Providers ranging from eBay’s PayPal and Braintree to Authorize.Net, BlueSnap, Litle &Co, MasterCard, and also Bitcoin processors BitPay and Coinbase have booths at the event showcasing their solutions. The first day started off with a presentation from keynote speaker John Donahoe, showing the future of something he calls the Commerce Revolution. We will be posting a more in depth piece on Donahoe’s speech later on.

After Donahoe’s keynote was followed by another presentation by Wikipedia founder and CEO Jimmy Wales on the history of offering all human knowledge free of charge to anyone with internet connection.

Although both keynotes were worlds apart in their subject matters, both emphasized the importance of the evolving mobile space. Mobile in general is also a primary theme of the event with new firms showing their mobile solutions, alongside seasoned payment platforms now entering the mobile space.

If you are at the event make sure to pick up a copy of our special edition print publication located at the entrance to the expo.

We will be covering more on the event throughout today and tomorrow.
