Betable announces $18.5 million in second round of investments

Betable, a real-money platform aimed at game developers, has announced today that they have received additional funding of $18.5 million. The funds were provided by Venture51 and current investors. Greylock, and Founders Fund.

Betable platform allows game developers to add . Betable has been certified by numerous 3rd party testing houses, and is licensed by the United Kingdom Gambling Commission. The further funding will allow Betable to expand their platform, and advance their development team.

“This funding enables us to grow our team, introduce new features and support developers who are building on our platform. Our goal is to remove all of the obstacles that impede developers from offering real-money play, so that they can focus on what they do best: building great games.” Christopher Griffin, Founder and CEO of Betable stated on the new funding.

We expect to hear more on Betable, as they sign on with more companies to provide their real-money platform to game companies and developers.
