Bitcoin Internet Payment System (BIPS) gives forty thousand Bigcommerce (e-commerce platform) merchants the opportunity to accept bitcoins from paying customers.
Copenhagen based payment processing provider, BIPS says that many e-merchants would like to accept bitcoins but because setup and integration is onerous, they forget about it. According to BIPS, those merchants who are part of the Bigcommerce platform will be able to achieve bitcoin acceptance by creating a BIPS account on their Bigcommerce profiles, with no extra coding, installation or setup needed.
BIPS indicates that bitcoins are instantly converted to local currencies and transferred to the merchant bank account at the end of every day.
