We have stumbled across some unconfirmed sources saying that Bitcoin can now be used for on Baidu. According to who tweeted this information within the last hours or so, Baidu has become Bitcoin friendly.
If this is the case, it is significant news for bitcoin, given that Baidu was the first Chinese company to list on the NASDAQ and was ranked 5th on Alexa internet rankings in October 2012. It will be a great leap for e-commerce in China and the world, given the gradual movement of the payment industry towards digital currency and Baidu’s extensive reach.
