Three new pricing plans have been announced by Bitpay based on features and value with no transaction fees charged.
From November merchants will be able to choose a plan, according to the feature sets they require, with unlimited transactions included.
Tony Gallippi, co-founder and CEO of Bitpay, explains Bitpay’s motivation for its new pricing structure: “No merchant service riding on the traditional interchange rails can offer all-inclusive pricing because there are three or four middlemen who want a cut of every transaction. Some processors tease with flat-rate pricing, but there are many hidden fees and limitations that make flat-rate offers an illusion.”
The all-inclusive plans include access to 20 shopping cart plugins, sample code libraries, client billing tools, and a bitcoin payment gateway API. The premium plans include priority telephone support and VPN access. And, with a focus on assisting small businesses, according to BitPay, its pricing can start at a $30 minimum per month.
