Retail told Finance Magnates on Tuesday that it has appointed Marc Taylor as a senior sales head to its new institutional trading outfit, ATFX Connect.
“ATFX Connect is proud to have a new addition to our dynamic team,” said ATFX UK managing director Wei Qiang Zhang.
“Marc Taylor’s proven track record will drive our sales and client relationships even further than before.”
Based in London, in mid-September. The new entity marks a change in direction for ATFX. In the past, the broker has focused most of its efforts on retail clients.
ATFX Connect, however, will be looking to onboard institutional clients, including hedge funds, brokers, asset managers and family offices.
“I aim to grow the business both in London and globally.”
Taylor has been brought in to try and grow the client base of the new entity.
The new ATFX executive has almost thirty years of experience in the financial services industry. Most recently, he was part of the FX cash administration team at State Street.
He has also held senior FX sales roles at COEX, ANZ and Jefferies. From 2007 to 2012, Taylor was a director in the Credit Suisse FX sales team.
“I am excited to start building on the company’s recent successes, I especially look forward to driving the sales team for the newly developed institutional offering ATFX Connect,” said Taylor.
“With my experience and skill set, I aim to grow the business both in London and globally.”
