Northern Trust, , has been selected by Introspect Capital, an asset manager based in Dubai, to provide global custody and brokerage services.
Under the agreement, the Chicago firm will use its capabilities in asset servicing and global capital markets to help improve the fund operations of Introspect Capital. This will allow the asset manager’s team to focus on its portfolio management and business development.
In addition to operating as a global custodian, the US-based firm will also lend its agency-online brokering services through Northern Trust Securities, which provides institutional brokerage services , APAC and United States.
The securities unit of the Group will offer its trading expertise in equities and fixed income and liquidity, which can include an integrated middle and back-office service, the statement released today said.

Introspect Capital was founded in 2017 and is a boutique asset manager, investing primarily in equities across the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia, with a focus on frontier and emerging markets.
