GAIN Capital Strengthens IT Teams with Two Appointments

GAIN Capital Holdings, Inc., a major provider of retail FX in the United States, has added two new members to its IT team – Boris Levine as the Head of IT Development and Rasmus Hansen as the Head of Infrastructure Technology.
Both of the new hires will be based in . They will report to Alastair Hine, the Chief Operating Officer of GAIN Capital. According to the statement released today, the new additions are part of the firm’s continued investment into talent and capabilities regarding IT development and infrastructure.

As the Head of IT Development at GAIN, Levin will be in charge of all IT development for the company. This includes the delivery of all technology projects, internally and externally. Hansen, on the other hand, will lead IT infrastructure and support its development for GAIN as the Head of Infrastructure Technology.

Furthermore, both Levine and Hansen will play a key role in helping to build out GAIN’s technology and operations centre in Krakow, Poland, the statement said.

Levine joins GAIN Capital from, ending a 16-year-long tenure with the company. Most recently he was the Chief Architecture Officer at the firm. In this role, he was responsible for the development of real-time pricing and risk management systems, as well as technical architecture and strategy.
Before being employed at GAIN, Hansen was working at ION technology where he was the Enterprise Architect. In this role, he managed teams across EMEA, APAC and the US and ran groups across Infrastructure Technology, Service Operations and Enterprise Architecture.
