Internet based Forex Broker and service provider OANDA launched recently a new international payment service in partnership with international payment firm World First.
The partnership between OANDA and World First spawned originally in 2013 to offer a payment solution for UK based users. Proving successful, both firms now offer the service to the US, Canada, Australia, and France in addition to the UK.
“Following a hugely successful trial in the UK, we were so impressed with the uptake for our new international payments platform that it made absolute sense to launch the service in the US, Canada, Australia and France,” stated Trevor Young, Vice President of Product Development for the OANDA Corporation.
Utilizing World First’s flexible payment platform, OANDA users can place high-speed international payment transfers to pay for services like repatriating income, paying for international school fees, and making property investments, among other supported services.
“We’re always looking for new ways to improve our proposition, and the partnership with World First will certainly add considerable value to our customer offer,” Young added.
“Our online payments platform will give OANDA’s clients the capability to make international money transfers 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We’ll make sure that OANDA users get the same high level support that our own customers have become accustomed to,” concluded Chris Russell, CEO at World First USA.
