While MetaTrader 5 has had many issues in establishing itself on the market, the solution by MetaQuotes has just gotten an upgrade which could provide some convenience for traders who have chosen the platform for their needs. The newest build of MT5 delivers a set of options for those traders who are using a Virtual Private Server (VPS).
The software developer has also moved forward with the MetaTrader Market service allowing traders to rent products for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. The changes could be beneficial to both traders and developers, as the buy-side will have the option to test a product for a shorter period of time before committing to a long-term purchase.
The virtual private servers on offer are provided by partner companies of MetaQuotes, amongst which is Webzilla. The solution delivers a big variety of servers from which to choose from, with the latency determined at the purchase time to provide the trader with a set of options.
Virtual Private Servers are normally used by traders who do not have a very stable internet connection or constant access to a desktop computer. A number of clients outside of the developed world use VPS services to run their expert advisors without losing solid execution.
