ArgusFX, an online provider of foreign exchange and contracts-for-difference (CFD) trading, has made a new senior appointment to its leadership, appointing Stavros Yiannakou as it newest Chief Operating Officer (COO), Finance Magnates has learned.
Mr. Yiannakou comes over to ArgusFX from MAP S.Platis, a financial services consulting and advisory group based out of Cyprus, where he worked for over four years. He will be based out of familiar territory, Cyprus, and steps into his new role with immediate effect.
He has worked in the financial services industry for the past seventeen years, with senior positions at several venues. Prior to MAP S.Platis, he served as the CEO of Tadawul FX Ltd. between 2009 and 2012. He spent the majority of his career as a Senior Banker at Marfin Laiki bank in Nicosia, dating back to 2000, according to information made public on his Linkedin profile.
