Every year the Duke of Edinburgh World Cup Final takes place over two days, culminating in a prestigious celebratory dinner. ATFX has been sponsoring the annual golf competition for three years now.
This year’s World Cup Final dinner took take place in Archerfield Links, Scotland on 10 September, with ATFX’s very own Marcos Tigsilema taking the stage to make a speech to guests. Marcos is the Commercial Director for ATFX (UK).
The DOE Cup is a sports tournament that originated in the UK and has expanded into various regions around the world.
ATFX supports charities, and their central importance to society, through its wider corporate social responsibility policy. This annual golf series raises funds for young people who’ve been scarred by war, those who need medical care and those who need special help overcoming isolation.
What’s more, the charity gives the opportunity and confidence to young people. It helps them overcome hardship and adversity to lead better lives. ATFX has been a long-standing sponsor of this noble cause.

Also in attendance were former footballers Alan Shearer and Graeme Murty, as well as Gary Johnson who is Chairman of the DEBRA Golf Society.
In the past year, the ATFX group has carried out multiple community outreach programmes in various different countries. For example, in Thailand, the company donated a batch of anti-epidemic supplies to medical professionals tackling the pandemic.
In the UK, ATFX (UK) donated 1,000 fruit boxes to NHS frontline workers at the peak of the coronavirus, which was met with a huge welcome.
