FCA-regulated broker ATFX UK has appointed Michael O’Sullivan as Project Manager, according to information made public on his LinkedIn profile.
Michael has strong experience and knowledge of the forex market operations and has held various positions at a few brokerage houses. He will be utilizing his experience at ATFX UK to help increase the company’s client base through new acquisition.
As , ATFX is entering into a new phase of growth, which will see the broker expand its geographical footprint across Asia, as well as enhance its product offering, focusing on localisation.
At the same time, in August, the firm for the year ended 31st October 2019, revealing a significant increase in turnover for the period, but still closing out the year at a loss.
The bulk of O’Sullivan’s career, which dates back to 2005, was spent at CMC Markets where he worked for more than 14 years.
Most recently, Michael was tasked with partnerships, operations and implementations at the FCA regulated forex trading broker, which has been .
During his long stint with CMC Markets, he helped the company develop and execute a universal sales strategy for its global operations apart from his other duties.
“I have senior financial trading experience across B2C, B2B, matrix-style and international organisations and is highly skilled at developing and managing strategic affiliate, franchisee and partnership distribution channels,” Michael says on his LinkedIn page.
Mr. O’Sullivan has also cross functional experience in product and project management and operations delivery combined with extensive background on software development, which gives him an edge in commercial solution-selling and financial trading technology implementation.
