Wedbush Promotes Francis Paulino to MD of Investment Banking

There’s been another change at Wedbush Securities, an American provider of securities brokerage services. Namely, the company announced the promotion of Francis Paulino, from Senior Vice President to of Investment Banking.
With his new position announced on Wednesday, Paulino now heads the company’s mobile capital formation business, which is focused on at-the-market offerings and stock repurchase programs.

Based in the company’s New York Office, Paulino will report to EVP and Head of Investment Banking, Burke Dempsey. Headquartered in Los Angeles, California, Wedbush Securities , wealth management, and investment banking services.

The promotion of Paulino comes more than three years after he joined Wedbush Securities. Specifically, he joined the company in December of 2016 as the Senior VP of Investment Banking.
Commenting on the promotion, Burke Dempsey said in the statement: “Francis is one of the few investment bankers who also understands financial infrastructure and regulations in great detail, which allowed him to develop a mobile solution for anytime/anywhere stock issuance or buybacks. Francis brings his clients the best of both modern and classic investment banking.”
Prior to working with the financial services firm, Paulino was a managing member of Tainos Financial Consulting. In fact, he has more than two decades worth of experience in the financial industry.
During his career, he has worked as a trader, treasurer, securities exchange executive, and investment banker. Paulino has worked at a variety of financial firms such as UBS Investment Bank, the (NYSE), Cantor Fitzgerald and more, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Over the past two decades, Paulino has covered a variety of sectors in the capital markets space and has executed many financing and M&A transactions. According to the statement released on Wednesday, his skill set complements Wedbush’s processing infrastructure and desire to offer clients low-cost best execution.
