Wedbush Securities, headquartered in Los Angeles, announced this week that it has appointed veteran Financial Advisor, Tony May, as Managing Director, Investments.
Wedbush Securities provides securities brokerage, wealth management, and investment banking services. May joins the company’s Newport Beach office and reports to Branch Manager, Doug Ireland. He joins the financial firm with three decades worth of experience in the industry.
During his 30-year career, May has focused on customising strategies for his clients, the statement published on Wednesday said. Before he was working with Wedbush, May was a financial advisor, with his most recent position at Stifel.
Commenting on the appointment, Doug Ireland said in the statement: “I am excited to have Tony joining the Wedbush family here in Newport Beach. Tony has a long reputation of growing his practice by providing tremendous service and financial solutions to his clients and I look forward to supporting his continued growth.”
Wedbush Securities continues to expand team
Wedbush Securities has been expanding its team in recent months. As , Frank Epinger was hired by the firm as Managing Director, Regional Executive of the Los Angeles Area. In the new role, Epinger is be based in the firm’s LA headquarters and reports to Senior Vice President and Head of Private Wealth Management Branch Network, Don Gorsch.
Epinger is a veteran in the wealth management space, having nearly three decades worth of experience in the industry. He joined Wedbush from JP Morgan, where he was a managing director and held a senior regional leadership role.
Speaking on his new role, May added in the statement: “My client-first approach fits perfectly with Doug and the Newport Beach team at Wedbush. I am thrilled to be a part of this growing office and look forward to my future with the firm.”
May lives in Laguna Niguel, California with his wife of 23 years and their two daughters.
