New growth strategy for Liquidity Connect
Liquidity Connect’s clients are now able to access various trading venues and networks from Equinix LD4 (UK) and Equinix NY4 (US) data centers. Collocated to the major liquidity providers, exchanges and interbank dealing servers, helps their clients achieve the lowest possible distance latency.
The direct connectivity allows traders and professional service specialists to gain a competitive advantage, quickly sending and receiving large volumes of data without the need to have a presence at local venues. The offering also enables investors to take advantage of the arbitrage opportunities between different markets.
Commenting on the news, Victor Hendrix, CEO of Liquidity Connect, said: “The addition of Equinix LD4 to our established infrastructure in Equinix NY4 was a natural step in our global growth strategy. We have adopted a demand-driven growth model, and our customers made it clear that access to liquidity in London required our highest priority. Additionally, our fibre connectivity between data centre sites allows us to provide a primary and redundant (backup) network solution to protect our clients in the unlikely event of failure at either site.”
