TradeStation Group, the US broker-dealer arm of Japanese financial services giant , has hired the former sales executive at Visa Inc, Martha Krawczyk, who has been installed as its Vice President of Marketing.
Martha has stepped into her new role with immediate effect. She will help solidify the group’s global marketing operations and developing the company’s overarching marketing strategy and vision, bringing several years of expertise in the payment space to the role.
Prior to this appointment, Martha served for more than 12 years at Visa Inc., where she held various roles in the marketing department and was responsible for the strategic direction of the brand. Her tenure with the global payment giant also included serving as head of marketing for Visa in Brazil, the company’s second largest market.
TradeStation and its parent expand to new markets
Earlier in her career, Martha had originally served with Sony Corp for 15 years in several marketing roles in the Latin American division.

TradeStation has recently invested in the cryptocurrency exchange ErisX which raised over $25 million from investors including Fidelity Investments and Nasdaq Ventures. Its parent Monex Group already has a diverse portfolio of brokerages worldwide though was rumored to be in cryptocurrency markets. Earlier last year, Monex set up its own to study the opportunities in the sector.
