Deutsche Börse AG, and provider of transactions services, has lost its Managing Director of Group Marketing, Simone Reinhold, the company announced this Tuesday.
Reinhold departs the exchange operator after an impressive 25-year-long stint with the company. According to the statement released today, she leaves after a “cordial agreement” with Deutsche Börse. It is not clear what her next move will be.
During her time with the company, Reinhold managed the marketing functions of the Group and its business areas, particularly within the derivatives area of Eurex. In addition, she also developed the brands of the cash market system Xetra and T7, C7, the Group’s trading and clearing system, the statement said.
Reinhold, who has been with the firm since 1994, helped push Deutsche Börse’s clearing house, Eurex Clearing, and the joint venture CEINEX, into a competitive position through marketing.
Commenting on the departure, Ingrid M. Haas, Managing Director, Group Communications & Marketing at Deutsche Börse AG, said: “Simone Reinhold is a distinguished expert in B2B and B2C marketing in the capital market sector, with outstanding knowledge particularly in digital marketing and in the development and implementation of strategies in the area of brand architecture with a strong customer focus. In addition, she is an outstanding and highly esteemed manager“.
Simone Reinhold’s career with Deutsche Börse
According to Reinhold’s LinkedIn, she joined Deutsche Börse back in September of 1994 as a Program Manager Merger. From here, she went on to become a Project Office Manager which led into a Communications role.
After moving over to Eurex, a subsidiary of Deutsche Börse, where she held marketing based roles, she then returned to work for the company on a Group level, as a Group Marketing Director and later a Managing Director.
Reinhold started off her career in February of 1991 where she did a marketing apprenticeship with Computer Associates, an information technology and services company. She then worked at Deutsche Terminbörse, one of the world’s first electronic exchanges, for under two years before moving to Deutsche Börse.
