Diya Patel, the previous Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Saxo Capital Markets UK, has joined Scope Markets as its CFO, the company has exclusively revealed to Finance Magnates.
Earlier this month, that Patel had left Saxo “to pursue new opportunities”, being replaced by Joanne Page, the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ETX Capital’s Gibraltarian division.
She had been with , based in the company’s London office, and prior to that has accrued years of experience in the position of CFO at various brokers. Before Saxo, she was the Group CFO at GKFX, a position she held for little over a year.
Most notable was her time at Alpari (UK) Ltd, where she was employed for almost six and a half years. Whilst working for the brokerage, she held a number of senior roles including CFO and Global Head of Finance.
Driving growth at Scope Markets
Patel brings a vast amount of experience within finance and regulation to her new position. At Scope Markets, a global foreign exchange (forex) and contracts for difference (CFD) broker, Patel will user her experience and vision to drive global growth for the foreseeable future, the company said.

Patel is a qualified accountant and started out her career within audit at a medium sized Accountancy firm. In 2006 she then moved onto Mazars, where she worked within their Financial Services Audit and Assurance department as an Audit Senior.
