Breaking: OANDA Experiencing Technical Issues

Just under two hours before the Brexit vote in the UK Parliament, OANDA is experiencing technical issues. Clients of the company have reached out to Finance Magnates and confirmed that they can’t login into their trading accounts.
Contacting the company’s support team appears to be very difficult right now, and there is no clarity as to how severe the technical difficulties of the brokerage are. The firm’s login page in the EU displays a warning stating: “Currently experiences issues – we are investigating.”

Users in the Telegram channel of are reporting that the login issues are on and off. The company’s execution is reported to have been mundane throughout the day. Finance Magnates has reached out for a comment to the company and will update our readers as we find out more.
The issue appears to be affecting both the desktop and the mobile platforms of the brokerage company. OANDA is one of the oldest brokers in the industry. The outage is occurring just minutes before the key in the UK Parliament.

Update: As of 06:30 PM GMT (11:30 AM ET) the company’s website is functioning normally. The company still hasn’t posted an update about the reason for the outage.
