BNY Mellon, a , announced on Wednesday that it has appointed global business transformation expert, Roman Regelman, to a new position of Executive Vice President and Head of Digital. He will also be joining the firm’s executive committee – BNY Mellon’s most senior governing body.

He will also work on investing in client and internal digital capabilities, such as data management, analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning and robotics. Whilst performing his new duties, Regelman will report to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Charles Scharf.

Regelman’s impressive resume
Regelman joins BNY Mellon with an impressive resume, bringing more than 25 years of experience in digital, operations and management consulting. He has been integral in the launch of several fintechs.
His most recent position was Partner and Managing Director at (BCG) for around six years. Here he co-lead the firm’s Financial Institutions Digital business. During his career, he has also held positions at , Mitchell Madison Group and a range of other senior positions in financial and fintech companies.
Regelman has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and an MBA in Business. He is a frequent commentator and author regarding industry trends of the financial services industry.
