Investment strategies on eWealth
The platform offers two types of investment strategies – goal-based and thematic. Goal-based investing provides portfolios that aim to achieve market returns. The initial investment starts from S$3,500 (around $2,570).
Thematic investing, on the other hand, combines quantitative strategies with factor-based investing. These portfolios seek to achieve above-market returns. For the thematic portfolios, the platform offers a “US Refining” portfolio. This consists of companies that are likely beneficiaries of rising oil prices.
Alternatively, investors can also access the “S-REITs” portfolio. This is particularly for clients looking for yield. Through the portfolio, traders can own 10 individual listed REITs without incurring the minimum brokerage fee.
